Insights
The Southbank Centre stands at the heart of London's cultural life and is the largest arts centre in the UK. It proudly seeks out the world's most thrilling artists, providing them with a space to showcase their finest creations.
HISTORY
The Southbank Centre's rich history traces back to the momentous Festival of Britain in 1951. This extraordinary event aimed to showcase Britain's remarkable recovery from the ravages of World War II, celebrating achievements in science, technology, arts, and industrial design. While many structures have faded into history, the Royal Festival Hall, an integral part of the Festival, continues to stand tall.

Only by understanding the roots of this institution could something truly distinctive be crafted, embodying its essence, and encompassing both its remarkable past and vibrant present.

But how?
My objective was to chart the touch points and cultural heritage of this place, aligning them with the physical layout of the buildings.

This approach aimed to seamlessly integrate the essence of the brand and its historical significance into the spaces, breathing life into each building with a rich tapestry of offerings and the legacy it upholds.
