Overview

The 2020 Art & Design show at Buckinghamshire University embraced a visually compelling and profound identity centred around the empowering concept of 'doing what you love' and 'loving what you do'.

Behind the idea

The idea of the show evolved into a thoughtful representation of each graduate's journey beyond the university. The ascending steps symbolize the challenging climb and obstacles they encounter throughout their careers, while also signifying the potential for growth and progression.

Some steps may deviate and lead graduates onto different paths or even prompt career changes, emphasizing that such diversions should be celebrated as long as they align with their true passions.

In addition, we endeavoured to metamorphose the show's venue into a tangible embodiment of the identity concept, creating an immersive experience for students and visitors alike to actively engage with the exhibition and its profound significance.
In addition to the traditional exhibition displays, we curated laser-cut key rings as special mementos to present to our guests, along with the exhibition catalog and map.
The exhibition was featured and advertised in the June/July 2020 Recalibration issue of the Aesthetica Magazine.
